Description

We created FRI, a specially designed music platform for emerging bands, and for people that like to discover new music and listen to different things.

The App had an advantage in comparison with other music platforms: it doesn’t consume data from the mobile plan. That is something has never been done before. That allows young people to feel free to discover and explore a whole new world of music styles and genders.

Execution

We created FRI, a specially designed platform for emerging bands, and for people that like to discover new music and listen to different things. Bands can easily share their music on FRI´s website, which is a very simple and direct way of getting to their fans. When their music becomes available on FRI app, it can be found and discovered by everyone that is willing to explore the emerging music territory, which is not often available on other music applications. Furthermore, they can listen to playlists with music selected by renown artists, and even create their own playlists and share them on social media. FRI also offers a complete agenda of events and shows, and in some cases, users can request free tickets to the shows of their preffered bands.

Outcome

The application achieved more than 95.000 downloads,

More than 63.000 active users

Over 740 emerging bands.

Famous producers suggested FRI bands.

More than 50 bands shared information about shows and how to get tickets.

The preferred bands in FRI had the opportunity to play in front of 70 thousand people at Movistar’s FRI Music, an iconic music festival in Argentina.
