Banamex participates with this multiplatform campaign as a sponsor in the annual event for the fundraiser collect of Fundación Teletón, an organisation that manages rehabilitation centres for disabled Mexican kids. The campaign consisted of delivering cameras to several kids from those rehabilitation centres, for them to show us their lives day by day from their own point of view. The material that they gave us was used for a documentary in which they explained what the pictures meant to them. It was a commercial that made people participate on it, doing things such us deliver postcards in exchange for bank donations and photo albums on the internet where you could see and share through social networks.
Outcome
Increase the contact platforms with the general public and the multiplication of exposure. The event that the campaign referred to, Teletón 2010, ended with an increase of $3,500,000 Mexican pesos from the 2009 fundraiser, reaching the record of $446,851,910 MXN.
