The black postcards from the Christoffel Blindenmission turn the old joke postcards “a city at night” around to show a serious problem. Therefore they appear in the same trashy form as the original postcards “cities at night”.
Outcome
By offending people's sense of humour on the front we created the attention needed for the serious message on the back.
