Description

Goal: Sun Pharma from the past two years has been utilizing the Campaign "Gem of a combination" for their brand Gemer. The field had a fatigue from this campaign and even Doctors were not able to differentiate Gemer from other brands which had utilized a similar plank for communication.

Strategy: Agency did a research with the Diabtologists and Consulting Physicians for Gemer and found out that Gemer was utilized by Doctors to get early HBA1c reduction in diabetes. Agency utilized this platform to reposition Gemer as "GEM for Early Results" also forming an acronym for GEMER.

Execution: Everything in the campaign was created with GEMS. September onwards is a festive season in India starting with Ganesh Utsav, Durga Puja, Diwali and New Year and client also wanted a special campaign during this period, agency lay emphasis on the various formations of Gems through Ganesha symbolizing joy knowledge, Durga symbolizing power and victory over evil Diwali Crackers symbolizing celebration. These creatives were supported with adequate word play on the tablet.

Results: The outcome of the campaign helped Gemer feature among top 100 brands of the Indian Pharmaceutical Industry.

Results: The Campaign was very much appreciated by the doctors as it helped in creating a differential communication which was visually and copy wise very strong. The brand generated a 25 % increase in sales through this campaign month on month. Result of the campaign Gemer feature among top 100 brands of the Indian Pharmaceutical Industry.
