OVERVIEW

Description

Sanofi is a global pharmaceutical company that acts to respond to the healthcare needs of 7 billion people. Professionals at Sanofi realize that in today’s world, it is becoming more difficult to keep important things in mind, and when it comes to sparing attention, patients sacrifice their health for the sake of work issues, family etc.

Therefore, Sanofi briefed the agency to create a tool that would minimize medication errors on the part of the patient. The solution is based on the facts that nowadays people never forget their phones, and that there’s an app for everything. The agency used these two facts, and created a kit that consists of a pillbox that is always with the patient (because it’s worn on their phone), and an app, which would help them organize their pills intake.

Execution

The Get Well Kit was inspired by pharm experts in Sanofi. The idea and concept of the case were developed by the agency and client, its detailed architecture – on a factory that specializes in products for pharmaceutical industry. Materials for the case are pharm-approved, and its design comes from years of experience in healthcare appliances. The app was developed in cooperation with medics from Sanofi, who described in detail every possible aspect for pills intake, with designers and

programmers. Samples of the case and alpha-versions of the app were tested by pharm professionals to ensure they comply with the requirements.

Outcome

The doctor and patient relationship becomes more productive.

To further support this relationship, the product drives the integration of QR codes on the recipes. The likehood of recommending Sanofi products also benefits from the Get Well Kit but Sanofi is not looking for it to be a profit-generating project. It is a company’s social initiative, aimed at making people’s lives easier, and pills intake – as close to doctor’s orders as possible.
