Mediaedge:cia was challenged by GSK, owners of the Advair preventative asthma drug, to take product sales to a new level. The agency responded by breaking the mould of advertising within the direct-to-consumer pharmaceutical marketing sector, through its recommended focus on creative outdoor media. This unconventional approach helped distinguish and differentiate Advair from competitors within the pharmaceutical category and delivered increased awareness and prescriptions.
