Description
We wanted to make people more conscious of global warming problem, in their daily lives. And, at the same time, raise funds for the association.
We wanted to communicate in a different way than traditional advertising.
Execution
We did not want to produce a traditional poster or film. So we decided to create a daily life object : a mug. But a special one, a heat sensitive mug.
When you pour some hot water into the mug, the polar bear disappears. A message appears on the back of the mug :
« A few degrees more and polar bears will disappear completely. Fight global warming : wwf.fr »
The mug is for sale on the wwf e-shop, 10 euros.
Outcome
People were surprised and intrigued every time the polar bear disappeared and the message appeared.
100% of sales went directly to the association.
For now 500 mugs were produced, and we were asked to produce 500 more.
