These radio spots are based on rote learning. This is a way in which schoolkids in India typically try to remember their study lessons.
In each radio spot, we hear a kid reading out loud, the lesson to himself. Initially, what seems like a study lesson goes on to reveal the brutal reality that India’s less privileged children face.
A voice over then explains what just happened and how the listener can help.
