Description

This film is basically seven hundred years of history and culture compressed in seventy seconds.

Outcome

Peru is hidden. Self-hidden from cameras and lights.

Being the only country in Latin America without a film commission makes production almost an odyssey down here. Bureaucracy and corruption make the process hard and cumbersome, sometimes you can´t film even if you have an official permission for that. If you are thinking of traveling to a different city than Lima, the challenge is even bigger. Local governments are more complicated.

In addition, if you add very limited budgets, lack of technical equipment, barely capacitated crews among others you get a very complicated scenario to start your shooting day.
