Aware of everything that generated the strike, we decided to send a message to those who supported us during and after 51 days, changing the 7 letters of our name to the 7 letters of the word "Gracias": “thank you”

Aware of everything that generated the strike, we decided to send a message to those who supported us during and after 51 days, changing the 7 letters of our name to the 7 letters of the word "Gracias": “thank you”
The "thank you" message was delivered in many ways: Airplanes, on board crew, social media, out of home and newspapers.
Outcome
The strike ended with an all-time “Top of Heart” high of 88%
“Top of Mind” increased by 74 points.
Sales increased by 10 million dollars
And for the 45% of the country that didn’t like us before the strike,
We became their first choice for traveling in 2018.
For the first time in our region, public opinion favored a major company, over a few individuals…
Even the Congress of the Republic of Colombia ruled in favor of Avianca in the legal dispute with the Pilot´s Association.
