Description

At its core, Halo is a simple story, focused on a hero, Master Chief. Master Chief’s story speaks to all of us - because stories of bravery, duty and selflessness are universal. And the ways in which we honor heroes are similar around the world.So we turned Master Chief into a real-life hero by honoring his legend the way we honor others. Through an assortment of modern memorials, we celebrated his effect on our world – and the lasting emotional impact the Halo story has on every one of us.

Execution

The Halo 3 "Believe" site is the interactive companion to the ground-breaking TV and print campaign, which positioned Master Chief as the greatest of all Earth’s heroes. This innovative web experience allows users to interact with and explore the elaborate monument to humanity's greatest battle in incredible detail. Utilizing sophisticated motion control cameras and digital compositing, the 900 square foot diorama was transformed into a fully immersive experience. In addition to the pain-stakingly accurate models, buildings, and landscapes, the Believe site featured first-person accounts, testimonial videos, 3D panoramas, and a wealth of other content.
