Description

Hasbro is one of the largest toys manufacturer and owner of such brands as Monopoly, Twister, Jenga etc. Almost every household has at least one board game by Hasbro. The problem with board games is: little pieces get lost all the time rendering the games unplayable and spoiling the fun for everybody. So we launched the "Hasbro Games Party Saver" mobile app, which contained virtual versions of the game pieces, which are lost the most. We found an opportunity to help our customers continue playing no matter what!

Execution

The app includes all kinds of Hasbro dice, a Taboo buzzer, Cluedo table, Twister roulette etc. Also, it includes an interactive map of venues where you can go to test the games with your friends for free. But we needed to make sure that people find out about the app so we embarked on a quest to visit every venue that has Hasbro games and replace the missing parts with little paper inserts promoting the app. Also through the app people could find out about other games by Hasbro, which is one of the most important goals for Hasbro Games as a brand. The active part of the campaign lasted for 1 month and went even better than planned in terms of results. Board game lovers felt that hasbro not only wants to sell their product but cares about the players which made them more loyal.

Outcome

As a result we got more than 50000 downloads of our app and we are still counting as the word keeps on spreading.
