Description
We have worked in healthcare for over 30 years. Agencies and clients talk about digital innovation, new data, multichannel marketing and patient centricity. The conversation hasn’t changed for over a decade.
However, it is people who are at the heart of healthcare. People who work with passion, purpose and determination to improve people’s lives all over the world. It is these people who inspire us everyday, and we wanted to create a platform to celebrate them and their achievements. A platform that would share our everyday inspiration.
We identified 21 heroes of healthcare who work tirelessly to make a difference. From the porter who treats every patient like a member of his own family to the BMX world champion who set up the cycle response ambulance service.
We met each and every one of them, documented their story and documented their story and hailed their achievements across the industry.
Execution
We created a limited edition coffee table book, website, short documentary, and exhibitions in leading cities across the UK. The content was cascaded through social media and sent to industry leading publications.
The project was launched on 3 January 2017, the first working day of the year, to ensure maximum impact. Industry leaders began the year with a healthcare hero book and exhibition invite in hand.
Individual ‘hero’ stories are cascaded each week across key social media channels, creating a 6 month social strategy. The content is targeted at specific individuals and organisations, ensuring our message was further shared with their niche audiences.
PME and PharmaTimes have published features on Healthcare Heroes, and are planning future ‘Hero’ features in their publications, both in print and online.
The campaign was shared globally, through international keynote presentations, editorial coverage and social activity. To date the campaign has achieved over 2 million impressions.
