Hockey means the world to Canadians. And when the NHL didn't return on time in 2012, the good people of Canada began to feel that something very important in their lives was missing. But hockey players are incredibly resilient and resourceful. Especially the Canadian ones. So Nike Canada set out to remind them that nothing can stop the game of hockey - and that no professional lockout could ever take the game away.
The "Hockey Is Ours" TV spot features hockey players of all ages declaring how far they'd go to keep playing their game.
To take away the game, you'd have to take away Canada and everything in it. Hockey is ours.
