The assignment was to create a Superbowl commercial for the all-new Honda CR-V, a mid-size SUV – perfect for getting out there and seizing the day.
The spot stars a present-day Matthew Broderick as himself. Hearkening back to his famous character from the movie Ferris Bueller's Day Off, he decides to take a day off from WORK. The story follows Matthew through a day of fun and close calls, putting clever twists on classic scenes in an original way while still paying homage to the beloved movie and character.
