We wanted to create a score that felt both modern, timeless and beautiful. To achieve that balance of classical and contemporary, we composed a modern piece which was arranged for a traditional choir (Young New Yorker’s Chorus) to perform. To capture the most authentic and organic sound possible, we recorded their vocals live at St. Paul’s Chapel in Brooklyn, New York. After a week of rehearsing, we recorded the choir’s final performance in one un-edited take.
