Description
The Ford EcoSport was made for the adventurous; those who like to go further and discover new places. And for the consumers to make the most out of their stay, we created the Hotel EcoSport. The first spare tire cover that is also a tent. An exclusive hotel accompanying EcoSports owners wherever they go. With convenient design, it is easy to assemble and carry along with your EcoSport. The world’s only hotel with as many stars as you want, where guests have natural air conditioning, private beaches, no scheduled check-ins and can also choose the room’s view.
Execution
We developed a spare tire cover that in addition to protecting the tire, it also accommodates a tent.
The tent has the same format of a car tire.
Through a special folding technique, the waterproof tent for two people puts itself up instantly, turning the will to stay in the Nature an affordable and easy thing for anyone who owns a Ford EcoSport.
The kit comes with the car and consists of a synthetic leather cover printed with the logo of the project, which is fixed to the spare tire by reinforced elastic, accommodating the tent with only 2.7Kg.
Outcome
Ford turned what was just a car accessory in a new brand experience, strengthening not only its territory of freedom but also its relationship with consumers.
Due to the numerous people wanting to stay at the Hotel EcoSport, new tents are being produced and will soon be in more Localiza stores located throughout Brazil.
