This is the launch promo for season 2 of House Rules. A show that has 6 couples traveling
around Australia renovating each others homes. The key ratings moment during this season is when each fully renovated house is revealed.
After the first season we learned the key is to leverage that powerful moment when
they open the door to their rundown old home, and see it for the first time all shiny and new.
That was our approach for this promo, to focus on the house reveal. We boiled it down to a classic visual that sums up a reveal – the unwrapping of a present.
