Description
We decided to create sculptures of the actual abusive situations of a girl and a boy as the seed of all the problems. And the consecuence as a human plant that shows them as an alcoholic and a junkie. To reach more people we make print ads of this sculptures with this strong message: Nothing good grows from violence. Children of abusive parents are 50% more prone to become addicted to alcohol (for the girl) and addicted to drugs (for the boy).
Execution
We use easy moldable materials to create the sculptures and make a lot of details in the human feelings. Instead of using CGI we decided to make the art with a sculptor because that technique fits in well with our message. Raising a child in a peaceful, domestic environment is in the hands of the parent. They shape their personality with their own hands, and also with their own hands they can ruin their lives.
The design was a perfect analogy of what could happen in the future. The seed is the child; the roots are the violent domestic environment. And the final consequence of the abuse is an alcoholic and a junkie.
Outcome
The cultural impact was positive.
They become more interested in our programs that helps abused children.
