Since the database we were targeting was composed of businessmen used to a fancy lifestyle, we created a challenging concept, inviting them to meet the classy adventure that only a Hummer H2 could provide. It was sent to senior executives on the American Express Corporate Platinum Card database. This initiative also allowed the audience to exclusively reserve the first units, before mass distribution.
Outcome
The first 200 units delivered to Mexico sold out in the exclusive pre-sale. If you wanted to buy a H2 and you didn't have an American Express Corporate Platinum Card, you would have to wait for the next shipment.
