Nine different film pitches featured in rotation reflected the creative variety of HP/Hype Gallery Project. The ability of listeners to take part in the creative process of selecting a film to be made reinforced the Hype idea of a gallery that creates itself.
Outcome
The HYPE Art Gallery had over 4,000 visitors. The HYPE website had four million hits. 1,193 artists submitted work to the gallery. 900 artists returned to collect their prints. 19 out of 20 people interviewed supported HP’s creation of such a gallery.
