Description

The IBM Totalstorage sitelet allows us to present detailed information to prospective IBM customers for some very complicated product/service offerings. Product categories are broken down according to the 'business pain' that certain customers often feel in terms of managing/protecting their data. The sitelet was designed as part of a worldwide template so that it could be modified to include special product offers to IBM customers worldwide. The template would be modified by the respective IBM business divisions across the globe. What makes this entry special? This entry takes a very dry subject and presents the material in a very dynamic, interesting manner. It also facilitates a greater understanding of IBM product/service offerings in a manner that previously had not been done. What makes this entry a great idea in its context? The IBM TotalStorage sitelet is built to accommodate the needs of one of the world's largest global technology marketers, and allows a very cost-effective information channel to help sell products that are far from 'impulse buys'.
