Collaboration with our design and production partners was crucial in the development of this family of iconic visibility items. Specialized design agencies and specialized production suppliers had to share concepts to make this range look and feel as one integrated range.
Outcome
The new Heineken® Iconic sign range provides full visibility from a distance for the Heineken® brand and signals availability of Heineken® in- and out-side of a specific outlet. The simple and cosmopolitan design of the new iconic sign range becomes a real differentiator, and allows easy identification. The family of indoor and outdoor signs integrate to the ambience and location where they are placed thanks to its mirror and dome effect making it very premium and attractive. This allows having a very different look of the signs during day and night, always reflecting what it sees throughout the city.
The most special feature of the iconic outdoor sign is its half-translucent mirror effect on the domes. At daytime it reflects the architecture and the city, while the brand stays visible: Heineken as an integrated part of the city. At night beer time, the lights inside overpower the mirror and make the domes glow green, attracting consumers to the bar.
Globally these signs respect the diverse architecture of bars, standout in busy streets and radiate the core values of Heineken.
