Everyone knows, practice makes perfect. With this in mind, MTV3 created for the wanna-be idols a possibility to rehearse their performance beforehand in Subway stations; in a place where a lot of the target audience go in and out every day. We put a poster of the judges sitting behind their table on the Subway station walls. It said ”Go ahead.” An Idols-sticker was attached onto the Subway platforms just like in the actual Idols-show.
Outcome
Promotion had a lot of extra attention in subway stations. The Idols-show reached number one ratings among teens. It propably did the trick, since this season featured much more talented singers than the previous 2 years...
