Using the creative strapline, “Be Bound for Glory”, the film builds on the insight that long-distance travel is usually for something important —in this case meeting the in-laws for the first time. We see a young man slowly but surely win his girlfriend's family over until he leaves having succeeded, confident and comfortable aboard his Virgin Train home.
