OVERVIEW

Background

Situation: O₂ and Apple have a close long-term cooperation. Part of this cooperation contains the launch campaign of the new iPhone 15 Pro. However, O₂ is not the only telco provider advertising the new iPhone 15 Pro. But how do we manage to be the first provider in the German telecommunications market to have a TVC on air?

Brief: Our task was to create a film that not only showcases the new iPhone 15 Pro with its tough aerospace grade titanium design, but also gives us the opportunity to pre-produce large parts before the official release and even without having the new iPhone 15 Pro on set.

Objectives:

Our goal was to have a finished film on air just a few days after the official release of the iPhone 15 Pro - and weeks before our competitors - without having to compromise on quality and creativity.

Execution

The first thing that comes to mind for the script, is a trailer-like action score, a concept that always works well. However, due to its constant success, it is a concept widely used, leading to problems in creating a truly unique product. That’s why our initial ideas on this front were to tap in to the en vogue, uptempo genres seeping in to the mainstream: blending Hip Hop, UK Garage and breakbeat rhythms, to create a modern roughness, speed and tension. At the end that’s how we received our track - motivating, uplifting and highly entertaining at the same time.
