Description

Professional Photography Class for waiters.

 

We designed a Photography Class for waiters where waiters would learn about lighting, composition, scenario, action and others tips, using the restaurant as location, they will shoot better, and customer will get better memories.

Better photos = Better business.

With better photos, the costumers started to share more posts on Instagram, and those posts worked like better ads to the restaurants. Improving the business and in the same time better tips for the waiters.

Everybody win. 

Waiters, Costumers, Restaurants and Visa. 

To scale this idea to a lot of others waiters, We took the learnings of the masterclass to Instagram, with five video tips, Visa is helping waiters and customers take better pictures to record their moments.

We created a video showing to the audience how Visa is helping waiters, restaurant business and costumers with this project.

Execution

The Master Class

Carlos Monteiro (Professional Photographer) together with the agency and Facebook customized a photography class with focus in restaurants.

A intensive class, the first part was a theoretical class, where Carlos teaches about light, point of view, framing, acting and angles.

The second part was a practical class, we created scenarios to simulate a restaurant and students could train what they learned in the first part.

The third part happened in the restaurants.

Carlos went together with the waiters in the restaurants to support them in the final test with real costumers.

The Instagram Campaign

We resumed the main tips from Master Class and created videos to teach waiters around the Mexico.

It was a fast tutorial with 15s each video.

We used graphics and subtitles to support the Carlos speech.

The Facebook Video

We made a video case to tell the full project to the Visa audience.
