The ICN merged two key philosophies held by nextMEDIA attendees; “Content is King” and “The Medium is the Message”. Using video and text messaging via touch screens and cell phones, plasma screens that relayed conference updates and sponsored ads plus personal swipe cards which activated custom web pages, a unique environment was created. Attendees were able to talk about the world of new media and experience it as well.
Outcome
nextMEDIA’s ICN pilot success was measured using survey feedback and a database interactivity report. This rationalized the btvf’s decision to deploy it in future international events. They expect it’s sponsorship model to generate $130,000.00 / per event, and its integrated communication solution to provide a better ROI for all.
