Description
We designed a pack which is simple, direct and effective. The folded aeroplane within a transparent pack carries the message – 'Reach your favourite places up to 20 times faster with Wanadoo Broadband 1Mbps – just £17.99 a month'. The aeroplane design implies speed and contains a strong call to action to go to the URL and 'upgrade to Broadband today'. The format of the piece was very cost effective whilst creating interest and standout on the doormat.
Outcome
5.5% response rate was achieved overall - exceeding expectations. This represented a 60% uplift compared to our control. The best performing cell was from existing 'AnyTime' customers (using over 8hrs per month), which achieved a response rate of 6.75%. The campaign received fantastic reviews in our marketing press, "Marketing" & "Precision Marketing": This mailing from Wanadoo has got it so right’; 'This is the best piece of direct mail I have seen in months'; 'The pack is simply and strikingly executed, and makes its point cost-effectively'.
