This wirless initiative replaces the traditional CNN media kit with a Compaq iPAQ with pre-loaded flash-based information. This communicates the key benefits and logistics of advertising with the CNN network in a cost effective and innovative way. Updated information and promotional opportunities can be easily distributed when a user synchronises their PDA. This is an efficient method of keeping content fresh. It also ensures that media planners have instant access to the latest information, and can be selectively informed of special promotions or events. Hundreds of iPAQs were delivered to key media directors and planners in Asia Pacific.
