Dermatologists and Rheumatologists

Spondyloarthritis (SpA) is a family of inflammatory disorders affecting the spine and joints.

Problem is, doctors, and people suffering from this don’t realise they’re connected and treat individually.

To combat this our idea metaphorically links situations around daily life that suffers are faced with, from the moment they wake and how they have a knock-on effect throughout the day and their lives.

Due to be shot live using actual dominoes, we quickly switched our approach when the pandemic hit, to three different production techniques helping create the final film - still photography, live action and cgi.

By shooting the environment and textures within it, we used the photography to help build our 3D world, giving it colour, depth and value. We shot elements as live action, stitching into our overall film before rendering out the final cgi film with the dominoes running throughout the house to drive the story.
