Background

Lord of the Rings: The Rings of Power is the biggest show of all time in investment, with more the 500 million dollars invested. But in the same time we have huge fans of the series in Brazil, we also have people who never heard about it. So how could we launch the show at the same time for both audiences, and bring attention to our history?

Idea

Lord of the Rings: The Rings of Power is an epic series. And launching it must be epic as well. The Epic Speech used one of the biggest signals of Brazilian TV, the final speech of Big Brother Brazil. But now on our objective. Hours before the show goes on air, Tiago Leifert, ex-presenter of the show made a mysterious post on his Instagram, making fans think he was back. And he was, but now, bringing an even more epic speech in the TV-Break of the reality show. A speech that comes from a second era, the time when elves, dwarves, and orcs were disputing power and rings.

Strategy

The strategy was based on targeting the audience of the main reality show in Brazil. Impacting people's expectations about the presenter of Big Brother Brazil, with more than 25 million audience at the big finale. And during the show, with a 1 minute Tv Spot, hosted by the ex- presenter of BBB, we revealed the thruth: another epic history, the Prime Video new series Lord of The Ring, The Rings of Power.

Execution

On the day of the big final of BBB 2022, the 26th April, we approached our audience with a single post on Tiago's Instagram. After some hours, the whole social media and gossip channels were talking about his possible return. And during the big final in the commercial break, with more than 25 million spectators, the answer came: through a Prime Video Tv Spot, Tiago Leifert was now speeching for the Prime Video's show, The Lord of The Rings: The Rings of Power.
