Execution

The solution created by the Media Team consists of a paper band on the cover of every Playboy (both newsstands and subscription) linked to an even-numbered page opposite the initial page of the photo essay plus a double page spread after the final page of the essay. The initial Kaiser even-numbered page + the opening page of the photo essay, because they are linked to the paper band, had the impact of a second cover (our ad) + page three (first photo of the essay).

Outcome

The goal of our Playboy action was to increase understanding of the campaign concept. With just one simple action, we succeeded in extending the concept 'You Deserve a Kaiser', which became part of the jargon of our consuming public.
