Description
In order to make Gogonokocha to be recognized as the best matching beverage with meals, we did world's first try, used rice ball as edible cheering medium.
We created a system where you can send a cheering message for national football team on-line, then engraved those messages on seaweed that wraps rice-ball using laser cutter.
A lot of messages were collected from all over Japan, and we actually brought them out to our national football team. It also became big news in Japan, spread out through various media. It was a necessary result for the collaboration of the most popular soul food and the sport to become a topical news in Japan. For that reason, it was very suitable for promotion.
Execution
From Feb.26 2014, we collected messages on our special website for one week.
On Mar.3, we brought the Victory Rice balls to national football team of Japan, next day it was on the many news including TV, web, etc.
Mar.5, the day of the national championship game, we held related events at national stadium of Japan.
Outcome
The news was in 6 different news papers and on 2 TV shows. Total appearance worth of over?100,000,000
