To literally demonstrate the benefits of Wüsthof knives to the customers we developed a special promotion idea for household supply and cutlery stores. We surprised them with a unique in-store idea which strikingly proved the sharpness and precision as well as high quality of Wüsthof knives: the Knife Cut-Poster. The entire calligraphic copy has been cut out in an exceptionally filigree way, so the customer could not only read about the knives’ sharpness, but also experience it in person.
Outcome
A sharp success! Twice as many customers than usual asked for a consultation in the shops during the 2 week promotion. The sales of Wüsthof knives, which could be purchased at an attractive price during this time, increased by almost 50%.
