Execution
Instead of creating a regular share link for an informative flyer about AIDS, we created a desktop application that works like a computer virus. But this time to fight another virus. The software takes the users address book and send an automatic email to all its contacts. Nothing else happens to the computer. The 'virus' is a pretty straight forward software. All the user needs to do is to accept the terms and hit a button. The rest is automatic.
Outcome
The campaign started on World AIDS Day (Dec 1st) and so far 3,600 people downloaded and ran the 'virus'. It may seem low, but with an average of 300 emails in each person’s address book, over 1 million e-flyers were sent. The virus was created to promote KORE, the first ever condom designed by Haitians. KORE is produced by Sir Richard’s condom co. And for every condom sold worldwide, 1 KORE condom is donated in Haiti.
