The Digital version of a national hit
In some countries Christmas is associated to snow and carols,
In El Salvador, it’s about dancing Cumbia. Especially one song: “LA BALA”.
The song was written by the Orquesta Hermanos Flores in the 70 ´s. And it’s the most iconic song in El Salvador.
So In 2014 we thought it was time to update the song, and make it more relevant for the new generation
Outcome
The results were as much of a Hit as the song itself.
- Over 200,000 downloads
- Played Radio Stations & Live Concerts all over the country
- + 40% increase in smartphones sales
- Most viewed branded video in the history of el salvador
- 250,000 USD in free press coverage
- But the best part was bringing a part of our culture to future generations.
