OVERVIEW

Description

Emoji’s have taken the way we communicate digitally by storm. They have done well to fill the gaps that no word ever could. And yet, through all this great success remains a void. Zubi, an agency specialized in the multicultural market, created customized emojis that represent how Latinos really express themselves in each one of their iconic slangs. And so Latino Emoji was born. A keyboard app with over 350 emojis representing real Latino expressions, people and culture.

Execution

App was developed for Android and IOS platforms. App is available for free in Google Play and App store. We leveraged digital influencers to generate buzz, we amplified mainstream news media coverage through Zubi social media channels. We targeted tech savvy consumers and digital influencer to generate buzz. The launch of each country was based on the largest Hispanic origin groups, new countries will continue to be developed and appear in app updates.

Outcome

• 11,100 downloads on the first day.

• Over 70,000 downloads to date.

• Downloads across 118 countries.
