OVERVIEW

Description

Samsung believes that technology is nothing without talent. That’s why we launched a store that did not sell any products. It only sold people’s talent. Inside, there were lots activities where people could interact with the artist through Samsung devices. We also developed a cash register that only accepted one form of payment: shares on Facebook.

Execution

We opened a store different from all the others: a store that doesn’t sell any products or services. It sells talent. We selected a number of artists who use Samsung devices in their craft. Every day the store went through a complete transformation - from the window display to the interior décor - to promote the work of each artist in a personalized way. Instead of money, the cash registers accepted only one form of payment: shares on the social networks.

Outcome

The store became the most visited in the shopping mall and was also very successful online: with more most ore than 5 million interactions on Facebook. More than 16 million people were impacted, generating US$3.5 million in spontaneous media. And the most important: 5 new talents were launched.
