TV3 wanted to promote the new series of the popular crime and justice drama, Law & Order.
Execution
A good part of every episode focuses on the apprehension and tough questioning and interrogation of suspects, so that’s what we decided to dramatise. We brought a fresh approach to an old medium, playing with the standard billboard set up. This sees the detective reach up, grab and bend the fitted billboard light to interrogate his suspect. Instead of it sticking straight out, it is now angled to shine on the man in question’s face.
Outcome
Since its installation TV3 has received a lot of positive feedback. It has been talked about in local press, but most importantly the first episode of the new series was the highest rating show in its time slot.
