OVERVIEW

Description

The brief was to create a film that launches the new Leica M-Monochrom, the world's first B&W only digital camera. The aim was to remind people that some of the greatest photographers in history have used a Leica and present M-Monochrom as the reincarnation of those classic cameras from the past. This film tells the story of life, death and reincarnation of an old Leica III and her owner, a war photographer. The story is told by the camera's point of view.

Execution

It is an original score, produced exclusively for this film.

Outcome

A Leica M-Monochrom, specially in Brazilian market, is a good that few consumers can afford. The care the brand had when they decided to handmade each box and the letter that came with it translates the emotional value this camera has, even before the consumer opens the box. It begins inspiring the person by a story and this is the strongest result we could achieve.
