Description
Immerse yourself in a real-time animation scene - a popular character will accompany you to pass the challenges of the game, while getting familiar with ankylosing spondylitis:
(1) Keeping up with the trend of Pokemon go, you will have a one-on-one appointment with Nurse Joy to protect your health and back.
(2) In the virtual reality game, the user would play the role of private detective to save a missing girl.
Execution
(1) AS You Can! Ankylosing Spondylitis Consulting Center: We named the campaign site different from traditional disease education websites to attract target audience interest. The campaign site not only links the visitors to the two games, but also includes information for ankylosing spondylitis and Taiwan’s clinic/hospital list for the target audience to investigate.
a. Real-person plays the doctor in the game- “back-protection consulting center” (In mandarin, the pronunciation of back-protecting is the same as the Chinese translation of Pokemon)
b. Taiwan’s first interactive disease awareness VR game: Private Detective on Mission (In mandarin, the pronunciation of private is the same as the pronunciation of rigid)
(2)?Press conference to announce the games: By announcing the innovative interactive game, we hope to raise the disease awareness of the potential patients so they are able to get proper and early diagnosis and treatment.
Outcome
(1) Disease awareness website views reached 100,000, and the two interactive disease education games have a total of 14,000 player counts.
(2) The press conference to announce the games generated 101 news items, and the total number of media impression is 7,900,000
(3) After experiencing the games, a rheumatologist expresses his thoughts: because young men are usually the group of people who experience the onset of ankylosing spondylitis, the two innovative games use a novel and interesting way to attract this group of people and fulfill the purpose of disease education, and are therefore willing to investigate the possibility of having ankylosing spondylitis, which creates more chance to discover potential patients.
