We make the illiterates’ problems accessible: with the donation campaign “Life of Fear”: we guided users via banner ads for free and blog entries to the “Hörgut-Verlag’s” online shop. There, three new audio book samples promise real horror. As soon as the audio clip starts, one will be terrified: the narrator can hardly read. We reveal our action at the end of the clips to ask for donations. Thanks to the shop-function and PayPal now instead of a download they can donate their contribution - directly to the account of Lesen und Schreiben. Just with very few clicks. Helping is that easy.
Outcome
Because of the low price 22% of visitors listened to the audio samples. 12% of those donated to Lesen und Schreiben. The association’s donation increased by 14% during the campaign. This way we reduced the daily horror of illiterate people. With zero media costs.
