OVERVIEW

Background

Since its beginning in 1999, Mercado Libre has been a Latin American icon of human progress connecting people that need something with people that have something to offer. As its overall experience and value proposition has evolved, becoming a globally recognized marketplace and brand, so has its ambition towards people in the region. Today, Mercado Libre not only aspires to consolidate its leadership status as number one ecommerce platform, but to build brand preference through emotionality by proving its role in peoples lives no matter how big or small their dreams are.

Execution

The film starts at Mercado Libre’s distribution center, where during the night a package jumps out from the shelf. Suddenly little monster legs, arms and horns come out of the box, breaking the seal and starting its journey towards its new home. Just like the little monster, other boxes with clown feet, robot legs and even wheels are seen around the city walking around trying to get somewhere. The film ends with the boxes arriving home where people have been happily expecting them.
