Execution

Over the course of the 30-second film, stark, simple, typographic animations ask a series of questions about how many Black lives—lives of brothers, mothers, fathers, sisters, uncles—need to be lost before we all realize that Black Lives Matter. Additionally, visceral sound design puts the viewer in the moment, one where sirens are ever-present and many Black men and women live in constant fear of what could happen next. The film ends with a title card that says, Citi stands against racial injustice, enforcing Citi’s solidarity with the BLM movement and commitment to racial equity.
