OVERVIEW

Description

A series of ads take us back almost 400,000 years, successfully bringing to life this period of distant and obscure history that would otherwise remain a mystery to most. One of the highlights of the exhibition was the reconstruction of a prehistoric dwelling – a roundhouse. Estate Agents placed this ad, featuring a roundhouse, in their office windows alongside their current 'for sale' properties thereby contrasting the pre-historic accommodation with that of the current day.

Outcome

As soon as campaign went live there was a marked increase in the number of visitors to the Museum. Data tbc.

(NB Objective: to attract 250,000 new visitors to the Museum).
