The idea was to create a special section on the weather forecast for the Caribbean countries, where the programme hostess would invite the TV viewers to play Loto so that they could wind these dream vacations. This section was included in the traditional weather forecast programme. It represents the largest audience concentrate in Chilean broadcasting because it is scheduled right before the channel’s prime time shows.
Outcome
By means of these new sections we created, we achieved a sales increase of some 20% above the monthly sales average (Source: Polla Chilena).
