Situation – The state of Madhya Pradesh (MP) is spread over 310,000 square km. A size roughly 2.5 times that of England.

Brief- The Government of MP wanted to showcase it’s rich cultural heritage, it’s wide variety of ancient architecture and it’s flourishing wild life in order to promote local tourism.

Objectives – To attract local tourist to MP and encourage it to travel to all its corners in order to discover it’s magic.

The Director felt that to make a captivating tourism film about a place steeped in centuries of history it would make it more compelling if we revive and use the state’s folk theatre story telling style and also use MP’s rural art form done on paper – Gond Art. In order to

bring it all together the rural drawings were then used for Paper cut animation. To have a

distinctive style for MP, the Director chose create a unique coming together of cinema, folk theatre, Rural drawings and a woman from the land who looks like she has travelled time.
