Description
Our main challenge was to create an engaging report that delivers the critical and complex information about the previous year to stakeholders in an engaging and easily digestible manner.
Execution
BC’s egg production is different, with many smaller, family-run farms. This tactile, warm, and engaging piece was designed to show farmers, graders, and everyone else in the industry that BC’s difference can also be its market advantage. The report’s dust-jacket cover doubles as a poster, which summarizes the featured content from within the report using simple and colourful illustrations. Similar illustrations are used throughout the report to illuminate the content, making the complex topics covered more digestible.
Outcome
The annual report was first unveiled as the focal point of the BC Egg Marketing Board’s Annual General Meeting. Response was overwhelmingly positive; stakeholders were charmed by the unique format and design, which compelled them to read on. Copies of the report ran out soon after its release.
