In the morning, readers of national daily newspapers were alerted that an event would happen on TF1. 3 teasers were aired at 7pm, 8:50 pm and 9:40 pm on TF1. The revelation arrived around 11 pm: the unique airing of a 90 second commercial was positioned between two Sunday evening blockbusters: “Volte Face” and “Resident Evil”. Once revealed, the commercial continued in cinemas around the year-end block busters and on Youtube & Dailymotion.
Outcome
A cult film which has been circulated on the Internet since Nov 27 - on YouTube and DailyMotion - has been viewed by 145 295 internet users.
